This line of research seeks to study the forms of social of life, symbolic manifestations, interethnic relations, history, and environmental contexts of Amerindian peoples. The projects developed within this line of research involve exploration of diverse domains, such as: kinship, social organization, politics, shamanism, mythology, ritual, nature and culture.
